Jacobsdal Cabernet Sauvignon
Quite light in style with only 13% alcohol and modest oaking - a tip of the hat to more elegant Cape Cabernet Sauvignons of the 1960s and 1970s. Less concentration than other vintages, but benefiting with cellaring as expected, showing red fruit with herbal interest and steely grip. Persistent dusty tannins to finish. For fans of classically-styled Cabernet Sauvignon. Can be enjoyed now, but probably still improving.
