Fully mature and leathery, with bracing, revitalising acidity. Aromas of sundried fruit and forest floor along with barrel-aged balsamic, soy and leather. The palate still has firm acidity and fine tannins, nicely framing the ripe fruit and, typical of these Italian varietals, just begging for oily food.
