Deep red colour and truly little browning. Rich layers of red and dark fruit harmoniously balanced with the oak that adds that cedarwood spice to the generous flavour profile on the nose. More of these beautiful flavours appear on the palate with the sweet fruit adding to the freshness and youthfulness of the wine. It is this delightful sweetness, a trademark of older Nederburg red wines, which rounds the wine off to a silky smooth and complex finish. There is enough well-balanced acidity to ensure another 20 years or so to mature further.
