Although the modern Zonnebloem Cabernet Sauvignons allow for early drinking, in a medium-bodied style and with ready, creamy tannins, there is no doubt that they improve over four to eight years of cellaring. The 2017 is showing elegant maturity with cassis, redcurrants and mint, with dusty accent and coffee roast undertones. Solid varietal expression, all from Stellenbosch fruit.
