Light brick red, with tones of tawny. Generally becoming lighter and more delicate with age, as the fruit has faded while retaining good acidity. Burnt strawberries, sandalwood, banana skin and tar. Drying, leathery palate is evolved yet stable, savoury and interesting. Will reward fans of mature, earthy Pinotage.
